KNUCKLE REEF PONTOON

Spend time on our fantastic, innovative Knuckle Reef Pontoon. The pontoon is spacious with a choice of areas to relax and a great range of activities to enhance your time at the reef. Our pontoon features Queensland's largest and most spectacular underwater viewing chamber - you'll feel like you are in the water with the fish! There is undercover seating and tables, sun decks for topping up the tan, freshwater showers, change rooms and you have full access to the air-conditioned comfort of 'Seaflight' alongside.

Located inside Knuckle Reef Lagoon, the pontoon is ideally situated in shallower waters with protection from the surrounding sea conditions.

Diving

Knuckle Reef Lagoon is the perfect place to experience the magic of your first ever SCUBA dive. Certified divers can enjoy incredible dives at specially selected sites. See our Optional Activities page for more details.

Snorkelling

Enjoy fantastic snorkelling amongst colourful marine life at Knuckle Reef Lagoon. All the gear you need is provided including sterilised mouth pieces for the snorkels. You don't need to get wet...

You don’t need to get wet to experience the wonders of the reef. Take our 'Subsea Adventure' or Glass Bottom Boat excursion, complete with an entertaining and informative commentary by our crew. And don't miss our fantastic underwater observatory with its panoramic views of life under the sea. You'll see amazing fish and marine life.

Acclaimed as one of Queensland’s most spectacular Great Barrier Reef sites, Knuckle Reef Lagoon is an amazing place to discover what lies beneath the ocean.

Formed millions of years ago, this colourful living reef continues to grow and flourish just off the coast from the Whitsundays. More than 200 different types of fish and 150 types of hard and soft coral thrive in the sheltered lagoon, giving this part of the reef a higher concentration and greater diversity of coral than any other commercial site in Queensland.

The bright colours and amusing antics of anemone, parrotfish, turtles and reef sharks captivate all who explore Knuckle Reef.
