WHITSUNDAY ISLANDS RESORT CONNECTIONS

Cruise Whitsundays operates 'Resort Connections' an island resort transfer service in the Whitsundays. This service connects Hamilton Island Airport to Daydream Island Resort and Spa, Airlie Beach and Long Island.

Cruise Whitsundays also operates a convenient connecting service from Whitsunday Coast Airport (Proserpine) through to Daydream Island and Long Island. The service provides a seamless, hassle free and fast connection for arriving and departing guests with three modern, purpose built vessels.

Ferries also operate between Airlie Beach (Abel Point Marina or Shute Harbour) and Daydream Island, Long Island and both Hamilton Island and Whitsunday Coast airports.

HAMILTON ISLAND AIRPORT

The ferries operate directly from the Airport pontoon just 100 metres from the arrivals hall. There is a ferry to meet most flights with a departure as close as possible to touchdown (generally within 30-45 minutes). Passengers should go to the Cruise Whitsundays desk in the arrival concourse.

Departing guests similarly arrive directly at the Airport on a ferry timed to suit flight departures.

WHITSUNDAY COAST AIRPORT (PROSERPINE)

The route to Daydream Island and Long Island is just as easy as via Hamilton Island. We have a dedicated coach with a meet and greet service at the Airport. As soon as all passengers have boarded, the coach will go directly to Abel Point Marina or Shute Harbour, Airlie Beach where a ferry departure is timed for as good a Resort connection as possible.

Departing guests similarly are met from the ferry at Abel Point Marina or Shute Harbour, Airlie Beach by a dedicated coach and transferred directly to the Airport. Services are timed to suit flight departures. The coach sector will be provided by our good friends at “Whitsunday Shuttle”.

Given it is now just as easy and the same price to get to your Island Resort from either Airport, you can choose which way to come based on the flight time and deal that suits you.
