Social Media Competition Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are related to the Cruise Whitsundays social media merchandise giveaway.

Please read the prize draw rules carefully. If you enter one of our online competitions, we will assume you have read the rules and that you agree to them. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. You are providing your information to Cruise Whitsundays and not to Facebook or Instagram.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter, leave a comment or tag yourself in the competition post.

ELIGIBILITY

To enter the prize draw, you must be:

1. Aged 18 and over at the time of entry and an Australian Citizen.
2. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter (Cruise Whitsundays) reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
4. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion.
5. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
6. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that they meet and agree to the Promoter’s requirements for participating.

COMPETITION PERIOD

Entries must be submitted during the period of Tuesday 24 August 2021 and Tuesday 07 September 2021 to be eligible for the prize draw.

PRIZE INFORMATION

The merchandise prize pack is valued at approximately $170. The prize pack will be a mix of Journey Beyond branded merchandise, to be chosen at the discretion of Journey Beyond.

CONDITIONS OF THE PRIZE

The prize draw is valid for the described prize only (noted above) and is not transferable to any other product, package or additional service. One entry per person. Entry is only open to residents of Australia, aged 18 years or older. Employees of Cruise Whitsundays, the Journey Beyond Group and their immediate families and agencies associated with are ineligible to enter.

One winner of the prize draw will be chosen at random using a random name picker software using either your Facebook name or Instagram handle. The winner will be notified via social media. If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize. Cash or credit alternatives to the prize stated will not be offered.

RULES

Cruise Whitsundays and Journey Beyond Group reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. We may also create rules which will apply to a specific competition only. If we do this, we will publish the amended competition rules and / or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page. The Promoter’s decision on all matters pertaining to this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
