About Whitehaven Beach, Daydream Island and Hamilton Island

Every destination on this cruise is beautiful and exciting in it's own way. You've got Whitehaven with glistening white sand and aqua waters; tiny Daydream with it's incredible living reef lagoon and short bush walks and Hamilton Island which is buzzing with activities, restaurants and resort attractions.

Explore the Whitsundays on a full day guided tour. Cruise through the Whitsunday Islands National Park seeing the more remote bays, islands and beaches and step ashore at two of the region's best resorts as well as the magnificent Whitehaven Beach.

The day starts with a short cruise to Daydream Island Resort and Spa‚ a wonderful stop for couples and families alike. Here you can enjoy one of the most unique attractions in Queensland, the 'Living Reef' Coral Lagoon - a miniature Great Barrier Reef. See the Shark and Stingray feeding at 10am. Wander around the resort or take a dip in the pool.

From Daydream Island it's a 30 minute cruise to Hamilton Island. Soak up the atmosphere with a wander along Hamilton Island's famous Front Street with its boutiques, galleries and cafes overlooking the luxury vessels at home in the Marina.

From Hamilton we cruise through the picturesque Solway Passage to Whitehaven Beach - a must-see in the Whitsundays. The crystal clear aqua waters and pristine white silica sand stretch for over seven kilometres. It is Mother Nature at her best - the most photographed beach in Australia and repeatedly named Queensland's Most Beautiful Beach. Join in the beach cricket, or find your own secluded spot and laze the day away or cool off in the azure waters.

Your friendly Cruise Whitsundays guide provides an informative commentary on the history and natural wonders of the area as you cruise from island to island for this wonderful day of island hopping.

The cruise vessel

A Cruise Whitsundays' guide remains with you throughout the day and can provide informative commentary on the area. Your day cruise vessel has air conditioned interior saloons and seating areas outside. It also has a boarding ramp allowing direct easy access on and off the beach.

Food & Drink

Enjoy a pub lunch at Marina Tavern. If you want to make a full day of it, book the 'Breakfast Cruise', catching the early boat to Daydream where you'll enjoy their delicious buffet breakfast before joining up with the guide and group.
