Community Support

Cruise Whitsundays is committed to supporting the community it works within.  As such, comprehensive and generous community sponsorship is undertaken throughout the year to support activities that have both a community and commercial aspect.

This program allows small groups and events in our region to flourish and helps create the social fabric of our community.

The community support we offer is significant and provides real benefit to our local region by assisting so many community groups, charities, and events to operate successfully for the benefit of so many different local residents.

Our sponsorship budget is prioritised specifically to support events that attract visitors/participants from outside of the region because these events have proven to bring real economic benefit to the whole town. We are the very proud major sponsor of the Cruise Whitsundays Great Barrier Reef Festival.

Our in-kind community support program offers donation of prize vouchers for our tours that can be used by community groups for fundraising raffles, auctions and events.  We also provide extensive support to the Make a Wish and Starlight Children’s Foundation to help them grant wishes for sick children.
