Social Media Competition Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions are related to the #whitsundaysinspo competition.

Please read the competition rules carefully. If you enter one of our online competitions, we will assume you have read the rules and that you agree to them. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. You are providing your information to Cruise Whitsundays and not to Facebook or Instagram.

HOW TO ENTER

1) Find your favourite Whitsundays image

2) Post to your Instagram, tag @CruiseWhitsundays and use #whitsundaysinspo

Entry is only open to residents of Australia, aged 18 years or older. Employees of Cruise Whitsundays, and their immediate families and agencies associated with are ineligible to enter.

Content sent to Cruise Whitsundays must be the property of the sender and must not have been plagiarised in any way. Rude or offensive material will be taken down immediately and will not be considered an official entry.

Offensive imagery may also be reported if deemed necessary.

By sending us your images, videos and comments you agree that they may be used by Cruise Whitsundays on their social media for competition and marketing purposes.

ELIGIBILITY

To enter the competition you must be: Be aged 18 and over at the time of entry and an Australian Citizen.

If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that they meet and agree to the event organisers requirements for participating.

COMPETITION PERIOD

Entries must be submitted during the periods of Saturday 16 May 2020  8:00am Eastern Standard Time and June 30 2020 at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time to be eligible for the draw date.

PRIZE INFORMATION

The winners of the competition event and prizes will be chosen at random using a random name picker software using your Instagram name. The winner will be notified via social media and/or email address. If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize. Cash or credit alternatives to the prize stated will not be offered.

CONDITIONS OF THE PRIZE

• Gift voucher is valid for 2 years
• Prize 1: Great Barrier Reef Adventure for 4 people
• Prize 2: Whitehaven Beach full day tour for 4 people
• No alternative or cash prize is offered.
• This competition is valid for the described product only and is not transferable to any other Cruise Whitsundays product, Package or Additional Service.

PRIVACY POLICY

By entering a competition on the Cruise Whitsundays Instagram page you are agreeing to Cruise Whitsundays storing and using your information for marketing purposes. We will not share your information with third parties and you can opt out at any time by un-subscribing from emails or emailing us directly.

RULES

Cruise Whitsundays reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. We may also create rules which will apply to a specific competition only. If we do this we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page. The promoter’s decision on all matters pertaining to this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
